After years of reviewing titles for Books+Publishing, I’m excited to have my first feature in the pages of their magazine. In “The reinvention of lit mags” I look at three Australian collectives – The Lifted Brow, Seizure and Kill Your Darlings – and consider the ways they’ve expanded beyond their print origins. From hosting writers’ workshops to publishing books, these collectives are contributing to Australian literary culture in increasingly innovative and exciting ways.
